Sheldon/South O’Brien traveled to Humboldt December 6 to take part in the 2024 edition of the Joe Fitch Invitational. The Orabs placed fifth among the eight teams with 145.5 points. The host Wildcats won with a 293.5 total. Finishing second was Atlantic with 256.5 points.
Three wrestlers for Sheldon/South O’Brien took runner-up honors. They were Josh Hoffman at 132 pounds, Mitchel Fischer at 165 and and Jack Leng at heavyweight. Placing fourth were Alexis Ocampo at 113 and Landon Sietstra at 215. Winning their matches for fifth place were Marshal Warnke at 150 and Kolt Roos at 175. Roman Harms finished sixth at 126 as did Ayden Miller at 190.
