Primghar Memorial Day Services
Monday May 29, 2023
Primghar Cemetery
The Primghar Memorial Day services will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery on Monday, May 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM. The alternate site in case rain is the Primghar Community Building.
Volunteers are needed to install the Avenue of Flags at the following dates and times.
Saturday, May 27, 2023 – 9:00 AM – Install flag poles and crosses
Sunday, May 28, 2023 – 7:00 AM – Raise Flags
Monday, May 29, 2023 – 3:00 PM – Take down flags, poles, and crosses.

Monday May 29, 2023
9:30 AM – Assembly of the Legion Color Bearers, Color Guards
and Firing Squad at R.L. Johannsen Center
10:00 AM – Ceremony at Liberty Cemetery
11:00 AM – Ceremony at Waterman Cemetery
5:00 PM – Take down flags and poles at Waterman Cemetery
All Help is Appreciated. *Weather Permitting
