Paullina’s Big Changes
On Tuesday May 17 the Paullina City Council called a closed session meeting citing the evaluation of an employee’s competency. Following the closed session, the council voted to terminate the employment of 22-year veteran city clerk Sandy Fritz. Councilperson Lexy Murphy read a prepared motion that was seconded by councilman Jay Jones and passed unanimously.
An immediate request for a copy of the motion was denied stating that it was not in a format that could be delivered at that time.
By press time Monday May 23, the document and other requested public records have not been provided to “O’Brien County’s Bell-Times-Courier.” Additional records requests are under development.
