Tournament play is about to begin for the South O’Brien baseball and softball teams.
The baseball team plays a Class 1A District 1 game on Saturday, July 6 at 7:00 p.m. at Lake Park. They will be taking on the home team, the Harris-Lake Park Wolves. The winner of that game advances to play Akron-Westfield at Akron on Tuesday, July 9 at 7:00 p.m.
The Wolverine girls open Class 1A Region 1 play at home. They will be taking on Harris-Lake Park at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8 at Paullina. The victor in that contest faces off against Newell-Fonda at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10 at Fonda.
