October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
This October, breast cancer awareness month, LifeServe Blood Center is encouraging individuals to schedule an appointment to donate blood and make a difference in the life of someone facing this diagnosis. Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women, and many patients undergoing chemotherapy, surgery, and other treatments rely on blood transfusions to regain strength, boost their immune systems, and prevent excessive bleeding.
