South O’Brien headed south to Mapleton September 26 to compete in the MVAOCOU Cross Country Meet held at the MVAOCOU Sports Complex.
Landen Davenport ran to a 30th-place finish. Trayton Cobb came in 44th, Corbin Warnke 45th, Bensen Rohwer 47th and Ethan Schwarz 51st. In addition, Asa Flinders finished 70th and Bode Bailey was 74th.
The Wolverine boys posted a 207 score to place tenth. Winning the meet was Lawton-Bronson with a score of 30.
Two athletes, Hailei Wallinga and Tricia Kilts, ran for the Wolverines in the varsity girls race. Wallinga placed 53rd and Kilts 56th. The team champion was Ridge View.
