Orange City Arts hosts the Iowa Watercolor Society 2024 Traveling Exhibition
Orange City, IA – Orange City Arts is excited to announce the Iowa Watercolor Society’s 2024 Traveling Art Show, hosted at the NWC DeWitt Library from October 1st through the month of October. This exceptional exhibition features an impressive collection of thirty watercolor works from talented artists across Iowa, showcasing the beauty and versatility of this timeless medium. The exhibition will be open to the public during the Northwestern College Library’s regular hours.
In addition to the exhibition, we are pleased to present a reception and special presentation by acclaimed local watercolor artist Judy Thompson. Titled “The Art of Watercolor,” this free event will take place on October 18th at 6:30 p.m. in the Vogel Room at NWC. Judy Thompson will share her insights and techniques, offering attendees a unique opportunity to deepen their appreciation for the medium.
