Wolverines join the crowd at Iowa Great Lakes Invitational
South O’Brien was among the numerous schools competing at the Iowa Great Lakes Cross Country Invitational on September 5. The event was hosted by Spirit Lake and Okoboji and was held at Brooks Golf Course in Okoboji.
The Wolverines competed in Class B and finished sixth among the boys teams with a score of 125. Sioux Central came out on top with a score of 29. The Rebels also won the Class B girls title.
Landen Davenport finished among the top 20 runners in Class B, placing 18th. Ethan Schwarz was 26th, Bensen Rohwer 29th and Corbin Warnke 31st. Caleb Buenger placed 36th and Bailey Bode 40th.
On the girls side Hailei Wallinga finished 30th and Tricia Kilts placed 33rd.
