MercyOne Primghar Medical Center located at 255 N Welch Ave., Primghar, IA 51245, MercyOne Paullina Family Medicine at 108 E Groesbeck St, Paullina, IA 51046 and MercyOne Sutherland Family Medicine at 131 W 2nd St, Sutherland, IA 51058 will no longer participate in the Medicare program (Title XVIII of the Social Security Act) as of the end of business, effective September 30, 2024. The agreement between MercyOne Primghar Medical Center, MercyOne Paullina Family Medicine and MercyOne Sutherland Family Medicine and the Secretary of Health and Human Services will be terminated, effective as of the end of business on September 30, 2024, in accordance with the provisions of the Social Security Act. No payment will be made by the Medicare program under this agreement for services furnished to patients on or after October 1, 2024.
