South O’Brien Boys Basketball Camp held


The annual 4-8 grade South O’Brien Wolverine youth boys basketball camp was held June 10-13 in the East gym in Paullina.
A total of 38 student-athletes participated. “They worked hard and improved their skills,” noted Wolverine high school boys basketball coach Kiley Yates. “The future of the program is bright.” Coach Yates expressed his appreciation to the high school boys basketball players for their assistance and to Melanie Yates for organizing the prizes and printing the shirts.
The Award Winners were:
Obstacle Dribble – Brennan Negus (grades 7-8); Brock Ebel and Kane Goodchild (grades 4-6).
Hot Shot – Keller Reichle and Elliot Rausch (7-8); Noah Franklin (4-6).
1 on 1 – Karson Dau (7-8); Noah Franklin (4-6).
Free Throws – Kyzaiah Matthews (7-8); Harrison Wagner (4-6).
Knockout – Karson Kelleher and Jack Barbier (7-8); Braxton Triplett (4-6).
Speed Dribble: Brennan Negus (7-8); Andrew Beck and Jake Rausch (4-6).
Hustle Awards – Morgan Kilts, James Beck and Bentley Sweeney (7-8); Case Foresman, Blaine Ebel and Beckett Eldridge (4-6).
