USDA Agricultural Marketing Service Listening Session to be June 14
ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Beef feedlot producers are invited to attend a USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) Listening Session featuring the Cattle Contracts Library pilot program on June 14.
The session will begin at 1:00 p.m. Attendees may participate virtually or in-person (seating limited to 50) at the ISU Wallace Foundation Learning and Outreach Center located at 53020 Hitchcock Ave., Lewis, Iowa.
The Cattle Contracts Library is a pilot program designed to increase market transparency for cattle producers. During the listening session, AMS will present an overview of the current pilot followed by an opportunity for participants to share their feedback on the usage and value of the Cattle Contracts Library.
For virtual attendees, the meeting will be broadcast live as a webinar. Please register in advance at https://go.iastate.edu/GBGJOV. Attendees will be able to submit questions during the Zoom meeting.
The listening session will be recorded and posted for later viewing on the AMS website.
