Annual FFA Pancake Breakfast In Gaza

For years, the Gaza Fire Department held a pancake breakfast Saturday before Easter. It was great for the Easter dinner cooks with a houseful home for the holiday. With the Primghar Fire Department taking coverage of Gaza that pancake breakfast tradition continues. South O’Brien FFA hosts the event.
An added, agriculture directed feature is the “Favorite Tractor” challenge. Buckets featues several different makes of tractors accept the free will donation. The bucket with the most money collected is voted the favorite. Most years that distinction is won by John Deere. According to Eric Kumm, South O’Brien FFA advisors, nothing has changed this year.
The FFA fundraiser this year fed 601 hungry supporters.
