A. Call to Order
Board President Gina Paulsen called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM.
B. Roll Call and Declaration of Quorum
All board members were present.  Quorum established.
C. Adoption of Agenda
Motion made by: John Beck
Motion seconded by: Richard Radtke
Voting:
Unanimously Approved
D. Public Hearing

  1. FY25 Preliminary Budget Hearing
    Board President Gina Paulsen declared the public hearing required per Iowa Code 24.2A regarding the district’s certified budget open at 5:01 PM.
    No written or oral public comments were received.
    Board President Gina Paulsen declared the public hearing closed at 5:03 PM.
    E. Consider Approval of Bids for Paullina and Primghar Buildings Projects
    Matt Basye from FEH Design made some general comments to the Board regarding the bidding process for both the Paullina and Primghar buildings projects.
  2. Paullina Buildings Projects Bid
    Motion to approve the combined base bids A and B as well as bid alternates A1, A2, A3, C1, and M1 from Wiltgen Brothers, Inc. in the amount of $25,992,000.

    Motion seconded by: John Beck
    Voting:
    Unanimously Approved
  3. Primghar Building Project Bid
    Motion to approve the base bid as well as bid alternates A4 and A5 from H&R Construction in the amount of $2,471,000.

    Motion seconded by: John Beck

    Unanimously Approved

  4. Resignations
    Bailey Lehnhoff – 1st Grade Instructor
