George-Little Rock jumped out to a big lead over South O’Brien and maintained it to defeat the Wolverines 55-33 December 15 at George. The Mustangs led 20-4 after one quarter as South O’Brien fell to 0-4 in the War Eagle Conference
George-Little Rock went 21-for-45 from the floor to shoot 47 percent. The visitors were 12-of-35 for 34 percent. The Mustangs popped in six treys and South O’Brien four. Each team was 5-of-11 at the free throw line.
Addison Hedberg tallied 10 points, Chloe Hustedt six, Marissa Ebel five, Lindsey Einck four, Reese Farquhar and Jaylah Jackson three apiece and Abby Woodall two.
Farquhar recorded three assists, three steals and three rebounds. The top rebounders were Ebel with six and Einck with five. The Wolverines had 31 turnovers, ten more than their hosts.
