South O’Brien’s game with Hinton was seemingly over almost as soon as it began. Addison Hedberg scored five points and Abby Nelson four. Adding two points apiece were Lindsey Einck, Marissa Ebel and Reese Farquhar. Chloe Hustedt had a pair of assists. Farquhar totaled eight rebounds, Hustedt and Nelson each had a steal and Hustedt blocked two shots.
The Wolverines struggled to find the range with seven hoops in 39 attempts for 18 percent. They were 0-of-9 from behind the three-point line and made one of four free throw attempts. South O’Brien also turned the ball over 22 times.
