Conquering Cancer 4 O’Brien County was able to deliver a total of $22,500 to 6 different Cancer Centers. Sanford in Sheldon , Sioux Falls, and Worthington, Mercy One in Primghar, Abben Cancer Center in Spencer, and the June E. Nylon Center in Sioux City were the 6 places to receive a check. The Checks are being used to help those battling Cancer in O’Brien County with gas Cards, food cards, Cancer Screenings or any other assistance they may need. Our Committee has done many fundraisers such as 2024 Calendars with Sponsors, Pizza Ranch Tip Night, Bake Sales, Garage Sales and our 1st Annual Golf Tournament.
The Committee consists of Jo Holles, Pam Thornton, Sheryl Storm, Cindy Rungers, Geri Jacobs, Mary Klein, Tom Traughber, and Deana Cleppe. Help us Support those battling Cancer.
