Ten kids came Saturday November 4 for a craft and a treat. Leaf cutouts placed on colored papers were outlined with chalk and smudged to give a great illusion of the leaf outline. A turkey and tail feathers for the kids to share their gratitude was a second craft and show of holiday spirit.
The fledgling artists also decorated a sugar cookie and had juice for a treat.
The Sutherland Library hosts a Kids Saturday each first Saturday of the month. Kids are also invited on Wednesdays for early outs. Popcorn and a movie are a frequent Wednesday event.
