The South O’Brien FFA Livestock Judging Team got to stay closer to home for the O’Brien County Fair contest.
The heat was on the day of the contest which must have ignited the judging scores as well. The South O’Brien team of Logan Dau, Austin Negus, Alex Griebel, and Gabe Moermond took Champion team honors. Dante Johnson, Hudson Oolman, Leo Sells, and Claire Wagner were 6th; Makenna Wallin, BreLee Rasmussen, Hunter Lange, and Jasper Johnson 7th; and rounding out the chapter teams were Brett Evans, Bensen Rohwer, John Puhrmann, and Will Stout in 8th.
Individually, Noah Wittrock was Champion, Logan-Reserve Champion, Caden Wittrock 4th, Alex 5th, Eliot Boardman 6th, Hudson 8th, and Gabe 10th.
It was a hot afternoon, so we greatly appreciate the exhibitors who allowed the use of their animals for the contest and all of the volunteer helpers assisting to help the event run smoothly.
