The South O’Brien girls placed fifth out of 13 teams at the Ridge View Relays held April 4 at Holstein. The Wolverines scored 65 points to finish just ahead of Cherokee and Lawton-Bronson. Those teams each wound up with 62 points. The host Raptors totaled 135 points to claim the team championship.
Maddie Johnson won the shot put and Clara Larson was fourth, In the discus, the pair were sixth and seventh respectively. Takara Conley placed third in the 800 meters and fourth in the 1500. Taja Conley finished fourth in the 400 meter hurdles.
Karlee Warnke placed fifth in both the long jump and the 200 meters. Also finishing fifth were the 4×200 relay of Maddy Friedrichsen, Avery Halverson, Addison Hedberg and Kelsee Warnke, the sprint medley relay of Friedrichsen, Kelsee Warnke, Karlee Warnke and Taja Conley and the distance medley relay of Friedrichsen, Strubbe, Halverson and Taja Conley.
