South O’Brien FFA Livestock Judging Team Wraps Up Year

The South O’Brien FFA Livestock Judging Team wrapped up its year at the Clay County Fair where 54 total teams competed. The team of Austin Negus, Jacob DeBerg, Logan Dau and Alex Griebel placed 8th overall in the FFA Division, while also placing 7th in swine judging and 8th in beef. Hudson Oolman, Dante Johnson, Leo Sells and Bensen Rohwer placed 25th overall and 9th in swine judging. In the 4-H Division, Brody Van Beek, Jasper Johnson and Hunter Lange placed 7th as a team.
Bode Bailey, Eliot Boardman and BreLee Rasmussen were named Grand Champion Team in the NW District Demonstration contest. The team demonstrated how to use some of the chapters beekeeping equipment.
