The Primghar Library is excited to be part of a new project for the preservation of Primghar High School Year Books with Primghar Alumni. These yearbooks are important historical documents, and that the only way to guarantee their long-term survival is to digitize them. Any personal notes written within the yearbooks are not a negative aspect, but rather are additional “evidence” of the times when that class graduated.  The yearbooks will be scanned using non-destructive methods. If anyone would like to see a sample, we can email them the link to the site, the quality speaks for itself.
We are interested in borrowing annuals from 1902 through 1949. We currently have 1950 and on.  They will include costs of return (flat rate U.S.P.S. envelopes) shipping to get them back to their owners.  If you can help us fill in our missing years, we will need you to include full contact and mailing info if you send or drop off any yearbooks so we can return them.
