SOAR Director To Visit Prairie Heritage Center

On Saturday, March 19th Kay Neumann, the Executive Director of SOAR, will be presenting about Bald Eagles at the Prairie Heritage Center. This program was originally scheduled for March 5th, but was rescheduled due to the weather.
SOAR is an organization that is dedicated to saving avian resources through raptor rehabilitation, education, and research. Kay will share all sorts of information about Bald Eagles and other raptors. She will also share a special guest – one of their non-releasable education ambassador Bald Eagles. The Prairie Heritage Center will be open on Saturday, March 19th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Join for the educational presentation and then see if you can spot any Bald Eagles soaring over the Little Sioux River or go for a hike on the trails and look for signs of spring. The program is great for all ages.
