Jenny Lynne Austin Lyster, 66, late of Sutherland, Iowa, passed away January 22, 2022, after a private but prolonged battle with cancer.
 She was born to James and Evelyn (Hintz) Austin on the 25th of April 1955, on the day the light bill was due. She was the fifth born of the six children in the family. She grew up on the Austin Century Farm in the Little Sioux River Valley at the foot of Austin Hill between Sutherland and Peterson.
 She attended Sutherland Community Schools and graduated in 1973. She was married to Bill Lyster of Linn Grove and to this union, one son, Joshua James, was born. The family made their home in Albert City. Jenny subsequently moved on to the Ames area and several locations in mid and central Iowa.
 Left to cherish her memory are her son, Joshua James, and his two children; One sister, Jane of Sutherland with her husband, Don; Favorite nieces Gloria, Kimberly (Greg), Elizabeth, and Ashley (Gary); Favorite nephews Richard, Alex, Chris and Paul and their families; many cousins, other extended family members and cherished friends.
 Others preceding her in death include her parents, an infant sister, Patricia Ann in 1950, a brother Kenny King in May, 1982, sister Karen King Vernon in December, 1982, and a sister, Sarah Lee Austin, who died only moments before she did on January 22, 2022; all her aunts and uncles, beside other relatives.
 Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ in Primghar.  Visitation will be held at Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Primghar. Burial will follow at Waterman Cemetery, Sutherland, in the family plot.
