There will be a benefit for Merv Hoermann at the American Legion in Paullina on Saturday Dec. 11 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.. The fundraiser will include a free-will donation meal with hamburgers then an auction and raffle drawings. Live music is scheduled afterward from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Hoermann  has served on the O’Brien County Fairboard, Past President of the Iowa Snowmobile Association and the O’Brien County Cattleman’s Association. He was diagnosed with colon cancer in November of 2018.
