The Preschool Parent Advisory Board is currently raising money for a new preschool at South O’Brien Elementary that the Little Paws Preschool will utilize along with the Early Childhood Special Education. The playground will also benefit the Primghar community and be open to the public on non school hours. This structure will sit where the existing playground is located and will include a balance beam, playhouse, stepping stones, bongo drums, slides, and more. The Parent Advisory Board is specifically raising funds for a turf type surface called Eco turf that will be poured in place. This type of surface is great for young ages in providing safety from trips and falls. Their goal is to raise $25,000 for the project that will be utilized in the 21-22 school year.
