Obituary – Bonnie Bronson

Bonnie Mae Bronson

Bonnie Mae Bronson (Miller), 89, of Duluth, passed away peacefully, with family by her side Sunday, August 17, 2025. She was born in Sutherland, Iowa, to Freeman and Evelyn Miller, on December 15, 1935.
Bonnie was a part time Policewoman in the 1970’s and 1980’s and was also a devoted homemaker. She spent time camping, reading cookbooks, and modifying recipes. She enjoyed sewing clothes for herself and kids, canning hundreds of quarts of veggies from the garden. She liked to make jams and jellies from picked fruits; she sold Avon for quite a few years and was thought of being her best customer.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Robert, Jim, and Shorty Miller; and grandson, Lucas Struve.
She is survived by her loving husband, Richard; children, Michael (Teresa) Struve, Pam (John) Feldt, Paula (Mark) Goutermont, and Matthew (Leanne) Struve, Richard Jr. Bronson, David Bronson, and Barbara (Rollie) Geibe; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald (Judy) Miller; numerous, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family would like to thank Pastor Phillip Hooper, the church family, and the staff at Benedictine Health Center- Marywood Apartments.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to St. John’s Free Lutheran Church, “Operation Christmas Child”.
Funeral Service will be 2PM, Sunday August 31, 2025, with visitation one hour prior at St John’s Free Lutheran Church, 3601 W Arrowhead Rd, Duluth, MN 55811
