A dinner and online auction at the Paullina Legion building on Saturday evening brought out nearly 100 people to support the effort of the South O’Brien Foundation. A social hour gave guests an opportunity to visit or in some cases catch up. Dinner was catered by JW’s with National Honor Society students serving. A choice of smoked prime rib or Hawaiian chicken breast was complemented with green beans and red potatoes.
Games were planned and organized by Rita Kruger and Brenda Kruse with very generous prizes given.
Foundation effort, activities and goals were shared by President Ben Eldridge. Aaron Giese, Secretary, served as MC. Other board members were introduced. They are Kent Faust, Vice President and has been a steadfast board member for over 20 years; Rita Kruger, Treasurer, Lindsi Fulk and newcomer to the board, Bill Klinker, Helen Steele and Marty Weber.
