Bluey visited the Sutherland at the invitation of the Sutherland Library last Saturday, July 13. 169 children and 129 adults were on hand to visit Bluey. Some visitors came from as far away as Graettinger, Ia.
Prizewinners were; Picture – Braden McDowell of hartley, Big Blueys – Eva Zieman, Everly and Asher Bedsaul, Sutherland, Bluey and Bingo dolls – Mason Halverson, Primghar and Jordy Woltman, Cherokee, Bluey Rock – Milo Radtke, Le Mars. Bluey Imagine ink pad – Arthur Jones, Sutherland.
The turnout for the event was larger than first envisioned according to Nancy Hill, General N.B. Baker Librarian. The event was livestreamed on Bell-Times-Courier’s Facebook page and can be viewed there..
