Opening day of the Sutherland Library program brought 33 kids and 10 adults to enjoy a scavenger hunt and games. The Conservation program presented by Lindsey Kleinhesselink was well attended. Twenty four kids attended. The mobile zoo from Sioux Falls brought 40 kids. Out of all those kids 18 committed themselves to coming all 3 days. For that a drawing was held giving each of those 18 kids one special prize, drawn from a pumpkin from Steve and Wendy Koch, a free kids meal at Legacy’s Bar and Grill, a mini pizza from Cargo or $5 in Sutherland bucks from Commercial Club. Sutherland’s Summer reading program was a huge hit.
