Gen N B Baker Library is hosting a puzzle challenge as part of Sutherlands’ Labor Day activities. Date
is Saturday, August 30 noon to 4 at the R.L. Johannsen Center. Doors open at 11:30.
Get yourself a team of 8 people, then choose a color for your team. Each 8-person team has 4 hours to put together a 1000-piece puzzle. Every team has the same puzzle.
An added event that helps the library this Labor Day weekend is the raffle for 2 half hogs. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25. The drawing is Saturday August 30 at 4:00pm. You need not be present to win. Tickets are available at the Sutherland Library or from any library board member.
There is a $25 dollars per person entry fee. This fundraiser for the library and all proceeds will benefit the kids’ programs and after school events at the library.
