The Wolverine track and field girls entertained four other area teams at the South O’Brien Mid-Season Meet held April 17 at Paullina. The host team scored 124 points to finish second. Sioux Central easily won the team title with 208 points.
Event winners for the Wolverines included Tori Schueller in the high jump, Camryn Strubbe in the long jump and the shuttle hurdle relay foursome of Abby Nelson, Chloe Hustedt, Maeci Stevens and Schueller.
Taylor Wulf place second in the discus. Schueller hurdled her way to runner-up finishes at the both the 100 and 400 meter distances. Also coming in second were the 4×800 relay of Reese Farquhar, Taylor Wulf, Raegan Plagge and Avery Halverson and the distance medley relay with Amelie Wilson, Nelson, Farquhar and Halverson.
