Mayor Kay Gifford called the public hearing for the City of Sutherland Proposed Property Taxation for Fiscal Year July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026 to order. Roll call showed council members present were: Nancy Kuehl, Johanna Homan, Bruce Engelke, and Tyler Draper. Absent: Patrick Nelson. Others present were Steve and Wendy Koch, Mari Radtke, John and Joyce Putnam, Jeremy Lemons, Elaine French, Nancy Hill, Cain Junkman, Jane Schmidt, Brent Koppie, Rich Van Beek, and Amanda Vanderhoff. The clerk and council answered questions from the citizens. A motion was made by Tyler Draper seconded by Johanna Homan to adjourn from the public hearing. Roll call: Ayes – Nancy Kuehl, Johanna Homan, Bruce Engelke, and Tyler Draper. Absent: Patrick Nelson. Motion carried.
