Sheldon/South O’Brien will join seven other schools Saturday, February 15 at the Class 2A District Wrestling Tournament being held at Bishop Heelan high school in Sioux City. The tournament begins at 10:00 a.m. Competing against Sheldon/South O’Brien and the host Crusaders will be wrestlers from Carroll, Cherokee, Kuemper Catholic, OABCIG, Sergeant Bluff-Luton and Western Christian. The champion and runner-up in each weight class will advance to the State Tournament which will be held February 19-22 at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
