Wolverines constrain struggling George-Little Rock boys
South O’Brien held George-Little Rock to single-digit scoring in all four quarters in beating the Mustangs 59-27 January 31 at George. With the win the Wolverines improved to 6-3 in the War Eagle Conference.
Derek Paulsen scored 23 points to pace the Wolverines, who led 18-7 after one quarter, 31-11 at halftime and 48-19 at the end of the third quarter. Jaden Kreber was the second leading scorer with 12 points.
The Mustangs, who were led in scoring by Jack Krull with seven points, fell to 1-17 on the season. They shot 28 percent from the field in this game and committed 22 turnovers.
