Saturday was cold. And a typical winter funderland day except the snow was missing. But the fun was still at Mill Creek Park near Paullina. Ice fishing in the frozen Mill Creek Lake, the giant sling shot, usually used for snowballs, and a supply of fat-tired bikes to ride the trails. Crafts were waiting for cold fun lovers to come inside and create the tallest snowman with 3 sheets of paper, popcorn and hot chocolate. The candy cane walk kept them looking for the characters.
