Every late October or Early November, Archer Community Church hosts a luncheon and silent auction along with kids’ activities. This year was the first without a parade. The luncheon was well attended. It featured taverns or chicken sandwiches and homemade pie of all kinds.
About 25 donated items were put into silent auction with the last bidder at close the winner.
