DES MOINES, IOWA (April 1, 2024) –April donors bring May lives saved! This month, roll up your sleeves and save lives with LifeServe Blood Center. LifeServe Blood Center is calling all community members to participate in blood donation drives throughout the month of April, in your neighborhood. Each donation bolsters the blood supply for local hospitals, and LifeServe aims to emphasize the crucial role that each donor plays in supporting healthcare services within their own communities.
With spring in full swing, LifeServe understands the many obligations individuals many already have, but by setting aside one hour for blood donation, you can profoundly impact the lives of others in your community. So, why not make April the month you make a difference? Join us at the upcoming blood drives in your community or at one of our 14 Donor Centers and roll up your sleeves and be a part of the mission to save lives locally.

• Blood Bank Madness comes to an end on Saturday, April 6
• In conjunction with National Donate Life Month, LifeServe is partnering with the Iowa Donor Network in our Central Region (Ankeny, Des Moines, Downtown Des Moines, Urbandale and West Des Moines)
• Donors who give at all Donor Centers and mobiles on Thursday, April 4 will receive quadruple points
• Aberdeen Donor Center is celebrating their 1-year anniversary TODAY, Monday, April 1 and Friday, April 5
• Yankton Donor Center + Ace Hardware of Yankton are having a Seeds Promotion
• Sioux City Bandits are having a blood drive at the Sioux City Donor Center on Monday, April 22
• Pella Donor Center + Pizza Ranch are giving donors a free adult buffet coupon the week of Monday, April 22
• All registered donors receive a free appetizer coupon to Texas Roadhouse if they donate at one of the
  following locations: Ames, Ankeny, Des Moines, Downtown Des Moines, Marshalltown, Urbandale and West Des Moines
• Give One More in 2024-We are encouraging all of our donors to give one more lifesaving donation this
  year in an effort to ensure the communities we serve have a safe and stable blood supply.
