The only action for the Sheldon/South O’Brien wrestlers last week was a trip to Sibley January 11 to take on Okoboji/HMS and Sibley-Ocheyedan. The Orabs came out on the short end both times, losing to Okoboji/HMS 43-30 and to the host Generals by a narrow 39-36 margin.
Winners by fall against the Pioneers were Josh Hofmann at 126 pounds, Cole Cox at 138 and Jarrett Roos at 190. Heavyweight Jack Leng and 215-pounder Landon Sietstra each won by a 3-2 decision and Alexis Ocampo was a winner by forfeit at 106.
Roos racked up another pin in the dual with Sibley-Ocheyedan, this time wrestling at 215. Mitchel Fischer also got a victory by fall at 165. Winning by forfeit were Ocampo, Hoffmann, Dominic Rounds at 132 and Ayden Miller at 190.
