Sutherland, Iowa Council Meeting/Budget Workshop– December 19, 2023 – 6:00 PM – 110 Ash Street – Meeting Room
Mayor Kay Gifford called the council meeting to order. Roll call showed councilmembers present were:
Johanna Homan, Tyler Draper, Bruce Engelke, and Patrick Nelson. Others present were Nancy Kiehn, Adam McQueen, and Amanda Vanderhoff. The city received one bid for snow removal at the park. A motion was made by Patrick Nelson seconded by Johanna Homan to accept Rich Schuknecht’s bid of $80.00. All in favor. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Tyler Draper seconded by Bruce Engelke to adjourn from the meeting. All in favor. Motion carried.

The workshop went through an overview of the City’s balance sheet, the Capital Improvement Plan and each department’s projects and what needed to be accomplished in FY25.
