An additional investment of $35,800, from the sale of old equipment, and $27,500 will be required to complete the removal. The stump grinding is adding $7,000 more to the cost of tree clearing from public property. The total cost for tree and stump removal from the Emerald Ash Borer invasion in Paullina comes to $100,300.00. There was no discussion about how the cost affects the city’s budget and what costs cuts will be required, if any, to meet the need.
