Brett Evans Leads Teammate Austin Negus Around The Curve In The 800 Meter Run At The Warrior Coed Track Meet.

The South O’Brien track and field boys scored 106 points to finish third at the Warrior Coed Track Meet held April 24 at Alta. MMCRU compiled a 193 total to claim the team championship. Sioux Central was the runner-up with 149 points.
The Wolverines made their mark in the field events. Willie Conley captured the high jump, Jacob Van Lith was second in the long jump and Jayven Miller placed third in the discus.
The 110 meter hurdles was a strong event as Boston Riedemann won the event with Grant Wagner finishing fourth and Brennan Billick fifth. Not surprisingly, that trio, along with Conley, captured the shuttle hurdle relay.
