Cobblestone Days is back to where the cobblestones were an identity. The festivities for 2023 are set for Friday June 16 and Saturday June 17. A Thursday night Volleyball Tournament at the City Park is scheduled.
The traditional Friday luncheon at the Community Building is scheduled. The host is yet to be announced.
Friday night is a busy night. The Figure 8 races fill the family evening fun. Later the street dance on the square highlights late night entertainment for the adults.
The parade route is back to its well-known route, starting at the north end of Hayes Avenue and moving toward the square. Organizers are excited about the parade. They already have entries exceeding last years.
Food and vendors are at the Community Building Saturday morning and early afternoon. Inflatables, kids’ crafts, tattoos, a scavenger hunt and train rides are all on the square. The bags tournament quickly became a “must have.” The car show, one of northwest Iowa’s best known and best attended will be on and around the square.
So far, Sunday is the day to rest and recover from an exciting weekend. But stay tuned.
