Broadway Market Place started in 2018 as a project of three partners. Katie Lange, best known as KT, remembers looking into the long building and wondering, “How are we ever going to fill up this space?” They’ve done that.
Now with 2 partners 12 vendors fill the Broadway Market Place walls with a range of personally produced clothing, jewelry, home décor, gift items and more. But by far, its best product line is its floral service, both fresh and silk. She has a new “CNC” machine to do engraving on all kinds of materials such as leather, glass or vinyl. “That allows us to customize and offer a broader variety for craft classes.
The craft classes are a cornerstone service for Broadway Market Place and what got the partners to this Paullina location. Public classes are offered, as well as private classes or 1 on 1. KT says since COVID the 1 on 1 have been more successful.
Fresh and silk flowers expanded wedding and memorial needs. “The silk has really taken off,” says Renae Waggoner who works in the store and provides handmade jewelry. The boutique has 16 weddings scheduled already between now and September.
A kids’ line has been added in response to requests. KT is an avid Facebook marketer for her business. She pays attention to the surveys she publishes there.
Sydney, 3 years old, welcomes customers. Sydney is a COVID baby so she went to work with Mom when there were no daycare centers.
To celebrate the 5th anniversary, Paullina businesses will have lovely bouquets to tell the public about the event. She adds that she and her staff look forward to serving their customers and really appreciate the love and support. “The welcoming from the community has left me feeling ‘like part of the family.’”
