RAGBRAI update – Periodically between now and July, I will be providing you with an update of our RAGBRAI reception preparations. A couple of reasons for the update are to obviously keep you informed of what’s going on, but more importantly to maintain that enthusiasm that has made tur second visit of RAGBRAI a reality. I also welcome inputs — suggestions, criticisms, and any assistance you see fit to provide. The first RAGBRAI meeting will be Monday, April 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the basement of the Primghar Country Club. Hopefully between now and then the various organizations will have met and made some decisions about their participation in our second opportunity to “sell” ourselves to our largest crowd ever. RAGBRAI is coming back through Primghar because of our warm reception three years ago. It was fun and the Primghar people really rolled out the red carpet. Never have I been so proud of Primghar! We have an opportunity to do it again.
