The Lake At Camp Autumn Was Filled With Anglers This Last Saturday As The 4th Annual Fishing Tournament And Fundraiser Was Held. The Crowd Of Anglers Was Busy Trying Their Luck On The Ice.

The event was supported by the Iowa Great Lakes Fishing Club, who coordinated and judged the tournament. Prize categories were be based on length for the following species: bass, crappie, and bluegill/other panfish. In addition, the Iowa Great Lakes Fishing Club offered free ice fishing rod and reel combos to the first 60 kids (15 & under). They also be provided ice shacks, poles, and gear for individuals or families who did not have ice fishing equipment.
Mud on Main Coffee House & Roastery, from Cherokee, will be providing coffee and hot cocoa for the tournament. Lunch will include chili from Spencer Hy-Vee and spaghetti from By the Bucket in Spencer.
