New Owner, New Building—Paullina Pioneer Seed Dealership
Primghar, Iowa, February 6, 2023 – Eric Magnussen purchased the Pioneer Seed Dealership in late 2021 and decided a new building with highway access was needed. Construction on the new warehouse and office building on the west side of Paullina started in 2022 and was recently completed. O’Brien County Economic Development Corporation is pleased to support this project through an O’Brien County IRP Revolving Loan Fund Loan. Eric remarked that he is dedicated to providing the outstanding products and services that have been the benchmark for Pioneer for the past 97 years.
O’Brien County Economic Development, in conjunction with the O’Brien County Revolving Loan Fund Committee, has approved financing for this business transition. The Revolving Loan Fund is used to attract, retain or expand business or industry. Revolving loan funds may be used for the following: Land purchases, Building purchases, Building Construction, Machinery purchases, Equipment purchases and any other uses deemed appropriate by the RLF Committee.
