Robert “Bob” Brodersen Paullina, Iowa

Services for Bob Brodersen, age 72, of Paullina who passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Orange City Area Health. His celebration of life will be at 3 P.M. on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina with Rev. Donald Meyer ~ officiating.
Burial will be at a later date at the Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina.
Visitation will be after 5 P.M. with family present from 6 – 7 P.M. on Friday, February 3, 2023, at Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina.
Arrangements are under the care of the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Paullina.
Robert Eugene Brodersen was born on November 2, 1950, in Cherokee, Iowa to Bud and Della Brodersen.
Bob had a wide variety of hobbies and talents.  He loved being in the kitchen making a batch of soup, decorating Christmas cookies, or making breakfast for his family and friends.  He enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels in his yard.  Bob developed a keen eye for photography and loved to snap pictures of the beauty of Mother Nature.  In the summer, you could find him tending to his flowers and tomatoes. He was a Jeopardy viewer to be reckoned with.  Bob appreciated the beauty of life’s everyday pleasures- a cup of coffee, a good book, or a great tune.
And he was most happy when he could do these activities with the love of his life, Georgia.
He was a wonderful dad to his kids, Jay and Leia, and He loved being a proud Grandpa at Izzy’s concerts and Alex’s games. They have so many wonderful memories of him to forever cherish.
Bob left a special mark in the hearts of many. 
We will always carry his memory with us.
Bob passed away on January 28, 2023.  Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Georgia. Children Jeremy (Mandy) Brodersen of Sergeant Bluff and Leia (Jim) Krueger of Milford. Grandchildren, Izzy and Alex Brodersen. Siblings Betty Haselhoff of Cherokee, Ben Brodersen of Quimby, Kathy Smith of Quimby. Sister-in-laws Roxy(Dean) Pottebaum of Paullina, Marveen (Dan) Sorensen of Pella. And many loved nieces and nephews.
