Mid-Winter Concert
The Cherokee Symphony will be presenting its “Mid-Winter” concert on February 19 at 4PM in the upper level of the Cherokee Community Center. This will be the 67th season of the Cherokee symphony. Ted Hallberg, an educator and cellist from LeMars, will be the conductor of the symphony.
The 50+ piece orchestra will be playing the annual mid-winter concert with an eclectic suite of timeless classics all will be sure to enjoy. The Concert Suite from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull as well as the Symphonic Suite from the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring will be a few of the many “sweet” selections for the concert for you to enjoy.
Tickets for the performance are $15 at the door and students are allowed to watch free of charge.
