Sixteen South O’Brien FFA members attended the Progress Farm Show in Boone. FFA members got to expand their knowledge concerning the newest agricultural technology, equipment, and crops. South O’Brien FFA Advisor Eric Kumm commented that “This is a great way for the students, and myself, to see the newest innovations in agriculture. The new drone technology for spraying and planting, and the aerial ATV, were pretty interesting. It will be exciting to see how the technology evolves over the next 5-10 years.” Members visited many different booths and took part in some activities that were offered at each. Sophomore Teagan Bahrenfuss said, “My favorite part was seeing the floating tractor.”
