Jack and Clara Black were named Cobblestone Days Parade Marshals June 18, 2022. Jack and Clara moved to Primghar in 1978 when they purchased teh Nagel Fram Supply. They operated the store for 35 years.
Through the years both were generous to both the Primghar Community and the broader region community with their time and talents. They set a high example of volunteerism and dedication. They’ve volunteered for civic and faith activities.
Jack served on the school board in the late 1990s when Paullina, Primghar and Sutherland became South O’Brien. He also served 2 terms as a city councilman for Primghar.
Clara also served as a city councilperson. She served for four and a half terms. That’s 18 years! Clara donated countless hours to the Primghar Chamber and currently gives generously of her time by doing much for the Primghar Community Building.
